What is the process to work with us for Demolition?
We're a premier Demolition Contractor - here's what to expect
Call us, and talk with one of our experts
When you’re speaking with one of our Project managers, we’re going to ask you about your site, the size and scope of the need for your demolition (or other service we offer). Having basic details is important, but being able to talk about what you are ultimate trying to accomplish is even more important. So it’s helpful to understand your hard timelines, the ingress/egress aspects of the site, and clearances/permitting/requirements that may affect having loud, heavy machinery on the site, etc.
Pick a timeline and get our disclosures about what to expect the day of the work
We generally want to steer clear of other subcontractors on the jobsite, and demolition can be a dirty, dangerous task without properly coordinating other contractors. We will provide you with a checklist of items to do prior to the start of the project. Our timelines are rigid once set, and we will require a partial payment to ensure we are able to adequately start the work. If job specifications are not as promised when we arrive, we reserve the right to modify our instructions, and we endeavor to make the process as seamless as possible. Our operations manager will explain the importance of the different needs from your end before we can start work.
Make sure you’re sharing as much as possible with us
It’s inefficient to get ready for a project and then get to the site and realize there is a problem that wasn’t disclosed. WE are in the business of cleaning up problems, so tell us what you’re dealing with and be transparent about concerns you have – we probably have an excellent solution that can be applied to solve the problem efficiently. We definitely need a site visit if the project is not straightforward and clearly explained. Many smaller projects can be estimated with good pictures, and a good discussion about the project. Many will require at least a single visit – and once equipment has been assigned/allocated, we need a payment to ensure that we are able to properly proceed on the work.
Do you have your planning in place?
Is there a dumpster on site where debris can be placed? Do you need us to excavate to create a space for reallocating debris? Are you certain that there are not adverse environmental impacts as a result of your site plan? Do you have the required permitting to ensure that you are complying with regulatory needs? Is there a hard timeline for the other contractors on the site? Is there a need for controls for dust, flying rocks, noise pollution, etc.? Do you have the availability for access with a large piece of machinery? We can work with you on some of these aspects, but disclosure and a mutual understanding is crucial. We want to make sure you get the best possible service from us, and that you are set up properly to have continued success on your project.
Please feel free to involve us early on in your planning process.
